23 UNILAG Students Receive Financial Support from Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation

The Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation has provided financial aid to twenty-three (23) students from various academic programs at the University of Lagos (UNILAG). The beneficiaries were selected through a transparent process and unveiled during a ceremony on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Biodun Shobanjo Building, Department of Mass Communication, UNILAG.

The Executive Director of the Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation and UNILAG alumnus, Prince Sulaiman Olagunju, detailed the organization’s vision, stressing the importance of giving back to universities. He announced that the total financial support amounted to ₦5,750,000, aligning with the Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation’s goal of fostering sustainable development and empowering individuals.
