Free JAMB Forms: A Boost to Education in Ikorodu West
The Chairman of Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Otunba Sulaiman Kazeem, has described the free JAMB exercise as successful. Otunba Kazeem made this known during the distribution of another batch of free JAMB forms to indigent students at the council secretariat.
According to Otunba Kazeem, the free JAMB forms distribution is part of his administration’s efforts to support education in the community. He stated that his administration has been consistent in its resolve to ensure that no student in Ikorodu West is denied the right to education.
“It has become our tradition since the inception of this administration to give back to our community. This I have sustained consistently, especially in the area of education, through our various programmes for the youth, which are intended to show their inclusiveness and participation,” Otunba Kazeem said.
The council boss noted that he was motivated by the feedback from past beneficiaries, some of whom are already in school pursuing their academic disciplines. He pledged to double the gains in his second term, ensuring that more people benefit from the initiative.
While presenting the free JAMB forms to the beneficiaries, Otunba Kazeem advised them to study hard and make the best use of the opportunity. He emphasized that success requires effort and dedication, urging the students to hoist the flag of success.
