Edo State Government Prioritizes Education with Innovative Reforms

A Technological Breakthrough: Edo Cert 2.0
The Edo State government has launched Edo Cert 2.0, a technological platform enabling students to access their certificates online seamlessly. This innovation eliminates the need for manual certificate verification, reducing the risk of misplacement and associated hassles.

Revamping Education Infrastructure

The state government has also prioritized infrastructure development, renovating and reconstructing dilapidated schools. Furthermore, the administration has approved the employment of 500 teachers to strengthen the workforce.

Enhancing Technical Education and Skill Acquisition

The Edo State government has emphasized the importance of technical education and skill acquisition. The administration is overhauling the syllabus of Technical Colleges to meet present-day challenges, focusing on skills like POP making, furniture making, construction, and phone repairs.

Accreditation and Induction Milestones

The state government has facilitated the accreditation of eight courses across tertiary institutions in Edo. Additionally, 128 medical doctors from Ambrose Alli University (AAU) were recently inducted, having been denied induction during the previous administration.
