YSU Appoints New Acting VC & Registrar

The Governing Council of Yobe State University held an extraordinary meeting on January 15, 2025, where key acting leadership appointments were approved.
New Acting Vice Chancellor
Professor Bukar Jamri has been appointed as the Acting Vice Chancellor. His appointment will take effect on February 13, 2025, following the completion of the current Vice Chancellor’s tenure.
New Acting Registrar
Mallam Garba Ahmadu GirGir has been appointed as the Acting Registrar. His tenure will commence on February 15, 2025, succeeding the outgoing Registrar.
The announcement was made by Alhaji Ahmed Mustapha Goniri Esq, Chairman of the Governing Council. These appointments signify a fresh leadership phase for Yobe State University.
