University Assures Support for Cutting-Edge Research and Development
The Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna has reaffirmed its commitment to providing an enabling environment for academics to engage in cutting-edge research and development. This assurance was given by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Faruk Adamu Kuta, at the 2nd International Conference on Mathematical Modelling, Optimisation and Analysis of Disease Dynamics 2025.
Conference Aims to Provide Solutions to Societal Challenges
The conference, held at the main campus of the university in Minna, Niger State, brought together researchers and academics from around the world to share their findings and expertise. The event aimed to provide solutions to societal challenges in Nigeria and Africa through mathematical modeling.
University Launches New Academic Programs
In addition to its commitment to research and development, FUT Minna has also launched seven new academic programs. These programs include B.Tech. in Forestry and Wildlife Technology, Forensic Science, and Industrial Mathematics, among others.
