Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the suspension of admissions into the Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme for full-time regular students for the 2024/2025 academic year.

This decision comes after thorough discussions by the University Senate during its meeting on Friday, 15 November 2024.

Reasons for Suspension


The programme is being revamped to improve its relevance and better align with industry needs and global trends.

The curriculum is being updated to incorporate skills that will enhance students’ employability and career opportunities.

These changes are designed to equip students with valuable knowledge for the evolving job market.

Changes for New Students

Candidates admitted for the 2024/2025 academic session under the Full-Time Degree with the Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme (Stream 2) will now be transferred to the Full-Time Degree Programme (Stream 1).

This change means that the Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme is no longer included.

Students will only be required to pay fees corresponding to the Full-Time Degree Programme (Stream 1).

Continuation for Returning Students

Returning students in the 200, 300, 400, and 500 levels under Stream 2 will continue with the Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme until graduation.

This decision does not affect students who are already enrolled in the programme.
