Matriculation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 Academic Session at UNICROSS

The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), formerly known as Cross River State University of Technology (CRUTECH), has scheduled the Matriculation Ceremony for all first-year degree students for the 2024/2025 academic session.

1. Calabar Campus: Thursday, 12th December 2024
2. Ogoja and Okuku Campuses: Friday, 13th December 2024

Requirements for Participating in the Matriculation Ceremony

1. Payment of Fees

All newly admitted students must pay their school fees and matriculation fees in full before the ceremony. Students who fail to meet this requirement will not be included in the matriculation register and will forfeit their admission for the 2024/2025 academic session.2. Deadline for Fee Payment.

The university will not accept payments for school fees after the matriculation ceremony.

3. Registration and Documentation

Students who have completed fee payment must proceed to their departments and faculties to complete registration and documentation. Evidence of full payment is required to collect matriculation gowns from the faculty officers.

4. Return of Matriculation Gowns

Matriculation gowns must be returned to the faculty officers no later than two days after the ceremony. Gowns returned later than one week after the ceremony will attract a late-return fee of ₦2,000 per day.

Expectations for the Matriculation Ceremony

Matriculating students are required to maintain appropriate behavior throughout the ceremony, as any form of misconduct will result in disciplinary measures in accordance with university policies.
