The Mauritius-Africa Scholarship Scheme presents a life-changing opportunity for Nigerian students to pursue higher education in Mauritius. This scheme is fully supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology.


To be eligible for the Mauritius-Africa Scholarship Scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Only Nigerian citizens are eligible.Undergraduate applicants must be between 18 and 26 years old by January 1, 2026.
  • Postgraduate applicants must not exceed 40 years old by January 1, 2026.
  • Undergraduate applicants must have a strong WAEC result.Master’s and PhD applicants must hold at least a Second Class Upper (2.1) degree.
  • A health certificate from a recognized government hospital is mandatory.
