NADDC Launches Electric Vehicle Competition for Universities
The National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) has launched an Electric Vehicle Bus Competition to encourage Nigerian universities to develop electric vehicles for local use.
The initiative, unveiled at the UNILAG Design Studio, involves 12 universities from Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. Participants will design and produce eight-seater Campus Shuttle Buses. The competition’s jury includes representatives from vehicle manufacturing and assembly companies across the country.
