Olamide Balikis Junaid Foundation Registers 1,000 Oyo Students for JAMB Exams
The Olamide Balikis Junaid Foundation has successfully registered 1,000 students from the Ibadan North Local Government Area to take part in this year’s Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams.
Dr. Olamide Balikis Junaid, the founder of the foundation and a House of Representatives aspirant in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC), explained that the initiative was designed to provide opportunities for students who wish to further their education but are financially constrained.
Foundation’s Support for Education
While handing over the scholarships at an event tagged “Olamide Balikis Junaid Foundation Edu-Support Initiative Free JAMB Forms” in Ibadan, Dr. Junaid, who was represented by the Director General of the foundation, Abubakar Abdul, mentioned that outreach to the masses has always been part of her mission, even before entering politics.
She further noted that the foundation has made a significant impact on the lives of the less privileged across Nigeria, not just in Oyo State. Dr. Junaid urged the beneficiaries to view education as the key to success and to contribute to the nation’s development.
Beneficiaries Express Gratitude
One of the beneficiaries, Eniola Bankole, expressed heartfelt appreciation, saying, “I truly appreciate Dr. Junaid and the foundation for granting me this opportunity. I pray that God continues to bless her in all her endeavors, as this initiative has opened doors for me to further my education. I promise not to disappoint her and my family.”
Community Support for the Initiative
The APC chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Alhaji Taofeek Olaiwola, praised the foundation’s effort, acknowledging Dr. Junaid’s consistent support for those in need. He encouraged her to continue this good work, stating, “What she is doing for the masses will undoubtedly benefit her political aspirations in the future.”
Aliu Babatunde, the APC youth leader in Ibadan North, also commended the scholarship initiative, noting that it has alleviated the challenges faced by the beneficiaries, and reaffirmed that the youth in the party fully support Dr. Junaid.

Many of the beneficiaries also expressed their gratitude, highlighting how the scholarship will greatly assist them in their educational pursuits and open up more opportunities for their futures.
